ANAND LAKHANI

Founder | Principal Architect

Anand graduated from Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture(IPSA), Rajkot, and has worked at various places such as Spacematters Studio in New Delhi, Sparsh Interiors in Rajkot, Auromodele Atelier in Auroville, and Rai Architects and Associates, Jaipur before the establishment of spin.

Anand is very passionate about creating and transforming spaces and has a great zeal for its making. He believes that architecture is a process of creation and hence a part of everything that we see around us. He works towards achieving depth in his creations of experiences through intangible aspects in multiple dimensions of space and time.

NISHIT BHALARA

Co-Founder | Principal Architect

Nishit graduated from Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture(IPSA), Rajkot, and has previously worked with KOD architects, Bengaluru. Nishit has been working in Surendranagar since 2010, with the will of contributing back to his hometown.

His journey has unraveled many socio-cultural layers and the complexities that come with working in a small place. He likes to keep all the different stakeholders involved in the design process and it is the eccentricity that every individual brings in is that makes the design exceptional. His work there is setting examples of how architecture is not limited to opulent projects but is at the very core for any space of any budget.

MITWA JASANI

Project Architect

Mitwa has done her Masters in Advance Architecture from NMIMS, Mumbai and B.Arch from L J Institute of Architecture, Ahmedabad. Mitwa looks at architecture as an opportunity with a lot of responsibility. She gracefully transforms design ideas and shapes them with utmost care and perfection. Her loving nature filled with a lot of care and empathy brightens up our studio.

ER. PRAGNESH KAVAR

Civil Diploma, ITI

Pragnesh helps us by making execution drawings and also explains them to the craftsmen on site. He likes to explore and understand the properties of different materials, especially for interiors. He has profound leadership qualities and reflects and reiterates on the work done. He is an enthusiastic learner and open-and-shut in his nature.

SATAKSHI GUPTA

Intern Architect

Satakshi is pursuing architecture from REVA University School of Architecture, Bangalore. With keen interest in conversation, she finds architecture as an evolutionary process wherein everything evolves from past but in a refined manner to meet the needs of the users and the environment. She believes that the amalgamation of people, their culture, livelihood, art, their daily needs leads to the origin of architecture.

SUMITA SINHA

Intern Architect

Sumita is studying architecture from Aayojan school of architecture, Jaipur. According to her architecture is to create connection spaces within and beyond walls and a reflection of human innovation, connectivity and creativity. She believes that the beauty of architecture lies in its ability to transform our physical environment and shape the way we interact with the ever-changing landscape of our built environment.

SAKSHI KHANDAL

Intern Architect

Sakshi is pursuing architecture from Aayojan school of architecture, Jaipur. She believes that Geometry and balance play a significant role in architecture and it is the foundation and continuity of human life. She also finds herself curious about exploring materials in their truest form and creating cohesive bio-geometrical built forms that harmonizes balance between human energy systems and the environment.

DHAVAL NAYAK

Co-Founder | Architect

Dhaval has done his B.Arch from Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture and comes from a town called Kadi in Gujarat. Dhaval believes and practices simplicity in design by critically analysing every element that makes the creation. He creates an amazing energy in design by synthesising structure within the space. His idea behind coming together at spin was to bring in multiple perspectives in design. He has developed his forte in interior design such that he can deliver and execute the designs precisely within tight timelines.

BHUMIKA ZINZUVADIYA

Architect

Bhumika has graduated from the Institute Of Architecture, Patan, and has done her internship at Establish Designs, Ahmedabad. She is very keen on exploring new materials and designs and brings in a fresh perspective for every challenge. She is a great executor with strong software skills and has an exceptional sense of enhancing the beauty of any space. She is very kind, perseverant, and leaves no stone unturned with the work that she does!

HIRAL SATHVARA

Architect

Hiral has graduated from the Institute Of Architecture, Patan. She sees everything in nature as part of architecture that is centred around a human and supports our existence. She finds herself curious about evolution of architecture. She gracefully manifests ideas into built form with the required detailing.

ER. BRIJESH MOTKA

Civil Diploma

Brijesh has been with us for 2 years and is responsible for execution and supervision at the sites. He also helps with the drafting and estimate of the projects. He has good communication skills and enjoys spending time with the craftsmen at the site. He likes to pre-plan the work and suggests changes in the working methods for the good.

JAYA HARIYANI

Architect

Jaya graduated from Indubhai Parekh School of Architecture in 2019, after which she worked with Waste Warriors, Dehradun as part of the India Fellow program. She has done her internship at DUSTUDIO, Auroville. She believes that the built environment creates a huge impact on an individual’s life and is keen to observe, analyze and change the same. She arrives bright-eyed and bushy-tailed at the studio.

KASHISH BHOJAK

Intern Architect

Kashish comes from Dar-es-salaam, Tanzania in India to study architecture from Pillai College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai. She finds a lot of strength and power in design, considering the difference a space makes on an individual’s life. She puts in a lot of effort and takes any given task to the completion of it.

ACHINTYA HRISHIKESH

Intern Architect

Achintya comes from Pillai College of Architecture, Navi Mumbai. He is intrigued by multiple dimensions of architecture such as art, nature, abstraction, functionality and more. He believes architecture is not just about building walls but raising questions about our senses and surroundings.

HRUTIKA KALE

Intern Architect

Hrutika is from Flora  College of Architecture, Pune. Architecture for her is a visual art that speaks volumes about the culture, history, and identity of a place. As architect Julia Morgan said, “Architecture is a visual art, and the buildings speak for themselves.” She believed that they are not merely functional structures but are also representations of a society’s values, aspirations, and aesthetics.

RUTUJA RAJURWAR

Intern Architect

Rutuja joined our studio from Hindu college of design, architecture and planning, Sonipat. For her architecture is not just about creating a wall or a building, but it’s about creating memorable and inspiring spaces that amalgamate art and architecture for the people.
